I was wondering how to changa my gear lube in the case?

I was also wondering am I supposed to have an air filter?

How can I figure out if the fuel check valve attached to the tank is working properly?

If someone could help me out with these questions that would be great thanks!

yes, its supposed to have an air filter, if it doesnt get one.

if fuel flows while there is suction threw the other line, then it works.
