I run it in my snowmobile..good oil..smells really neat to
I wanted to put it in my elite but its almost $13 for a quart compared to 9ish for a liter of Ipone and I haven't had any problems with Ipone so I'll stick with it

Castor oil, squeezed from the castor bean. It's the classic two stroke oil and used in some old motorcycle engine crank cases. One interesting property is that it gets thicker with heat so your oil pressure doesn't drop to nothing when your engine gets hot. Also keeps you regular if you injest it. Thw WWI airplanes used it. The pilots were constantly inhailing the fumes and had a real problem with being too regular, if you catch my drift. Drinking a lot of alcohol was supposed to help.

Is it injector oil? I looked at the Klotz website and didn't see an injector oil.

I simply don't know about using it for injector oil. Hopefully someone has some experience with it.

Back many year ago...
We used to use castor oil in model airplane racing. 60 - 70% nitromethane, 20% castor oil and methanol for the rest. I recall there was sometimes a varnishing problem on cyl walls. Never liked the smell of burnt castor oil myself!
Anyhow, I did a search and came up with a modelers link with info by a lubrication engineer about the merits of castor and synthetic oil. It supports synthetic burning cleaner.

What about
http://www.klotzlube.com/storeProdDetails.asp?pi=6?
I'm interested, but I don't know where to find it other than online and I don't want to pay for shipping for a quart to test it out.

Read the tech sheet that stuff
is not for injection.
http://www.klotzlube.com/storeProdDetails.asp?pi=25 this is the only injector oil I could find on their site. Its a smokeless carbonless oil so it should work GREAT for our purposes.
