Just a final update. Got NOS auto bystarter and installed it. It fit like a glove nice and tight like it should have. Cleaned carb again and installed a briggs and stratton clear plastic inline fuel filter. Best $7 I ever spent. I was getting small little pieces of crap in the idle jet causing it to not idle steady, like vette76, it was idling through the main throttle jet. Now it idles perfectly.

I got a bad battery from the Honda dealer, luckily they set it up and charged it otherwise they would not have taken it back. Note to others: Have the dealership do it. I know batteries go on eBay for $20, but my dealers price was $27 with no shipping charge plus the bonus of them actually standing behind their product.

Remember I am a large body. 6'4" just a tick north of 250lbs so take that in mind with these numbers. Uphill steady speed 25mph, level grade 29ish mph and a steady down hill grade 32 mph. Starts within a second and you can get and go immediately.

Working on the body panels within the next week.

Question, how many miles do you get on a tank? I assume that with my larger weight that it will not be as good as someone that is 170lbs, but I would be interested to know.

Yeh, I believe its around high 30s or inbetween 40s, but ive nvr measured either since my fuel gauge is broken. I would just fill it up with a quarter or so every day i rode it. :P

I just rebuilt the carb and I get about 45 miles to the tank, but I usually run 40 before filling up. I wiegh about 210 and I can hit 25-27 up hills and 29-31 on flat. With a nice downhill max of about 34-35 depending on the hill.

Now I just want it to cruise at 35 then it would be perfect. :?
