Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

got a new spindle for my 85 spree, does the end of the return spring go thru the little hole in the spindle, or up against the notch? i can't tell from the picture in the manual i downloaded. also, having a * of a time getting the belt back in place after removing the drive pulley to install a new pinion. any ideas on that one?

install the belt around the clutch first. with the outer pulley on the crank still off slip the belt around the crank and install the outer pulley. spin the crank when gradually tightening the nut to ensure the belt does not snag and so u get the correct tourque.
