I posted a thread showing how I made a painting template I think it's in the adv tech docs page now, but I finally got done painting it. The engine is still being worked on so the back wheel is just resting between the panels to get an idea of how everything would look. I still need to give everything a good polishing, my dirty finger prints are all over the place.

I like it, only thing is that white paint shows dirt and grease or any little imperfection quite easily. I like the two-tone vespa kind-a-look!

Not bad..as "Junkyspree" wrote, the white will more that likely show more than you want it to so you'll always be cleaning it..I would have went silver or black just because of that. I really like the paint scheme nonetheless though

That's a very nice paint job! What kind of paint did you use? What did you do to prep the surface before painting?

I used Rustoleum spray paint for plastics. It was cheap and very easy to use. Before painting I wet sanded all the plastics with 400-600 grit. Then primed, base coat, clear coat. Also recommend using a rubbing compound after its all finished. One problem I did run in to was painting the front shield because it was the only piece that needed paint on both sides. I also had to repaint a few times because I didn't sand very well in a few areas and the paint started to flake off where the original clearcoat wasn't sanded through.
