hi everyone, just bought a 87 spree. there is currently no battery but i've been kickstarting it just to take it around the block. for some reason, only the right hand side lights work (front and rear) but the left (front and rear) do not, my horn doesnt work, and i think the fuel gauge is shot. my question is, if i put a battery in it, and the horn and left side lights still dont work, how difficult will it be to fix these problems, electrical stuff seems like it would be a pain in the * to fix. im praying a new battery might do it? i think im setting myself up for disappointment, but i love my spree.

First get a new battery and trickle charger if you dont have one alreadyto protect your investment in a new battery. the battery should fix the horn. As for the blinkers it could be the switch on the handlebarsbut i would download the Spree manual which will guide you on how to fix it the right way without headaches
good luck
