Ring Placement

Can someone please tell me if the "T" on the rings points up towards the top of the piston? Also, can you link me to the engine removal help? 
Look in the ring grooves on your piston. You should see a pin in each groove offset by about an inch. You should see that only half of each pin sits in the groove. That's where the open part of the ring fits. The rings can only go in 1 way and be fully seated in the grooves. Most pistons have the more opened portion of the rings facing towards the top of the piston head.
