Before you buy the chrome, check this out. I just installed this on my 94 Elite. Left side only (because of the throttle on the right side), but it's pretty slick. Back a few years ago, I owned a 94' Ducati 900 Super Sport. I loved the look of bar end mirrors on it, so I thought what the hey... Put one on the Elite. I purchased 2 8mm allen head bolts in black to fill in the old mirror mount holes.
These are actually mountain bike mirrors, but they fit the Elite handlebar end. You can get them online for around $14.00 each. Mountain Mirrcycle is the brand/name. They offer a MUCH better view of what's behind you than stock mirrors because they are convex.

Heres what I did
-Get a sock, cut the ankle off and toss the other bit.
-Buy a stick on convex mirror, the kind people with cars put on the side view mirrors.
-Remove the mirror from the plastic holder.
-Drill 6 to 8 holes in pairs with one about a centimeter from the inside edge of the plastic holder and the other 2cm or more but not too far in.
-Insert the three or four zipties I didn't tell you to get into the outer holes with the latch part on what will be the inside.
-Push the ends of the zipties through the sock ankle then back out and through the outer holes.
-Zip the zip ties till the sock ankle is held tight against the plastic holder.
-If done properly you should now be able to return the mirror to the plastic holder.
Now put the thing you just made on your left wrist so that when you raise your hand to a comfortable position the mirror shows behind you. Now when you're riding you can just raise your hand and see behind you, no head movement necessary.
Total Cost: 99cents maybe, and one sock
It's not a permanent solution but it does work, especially at night

Sure thing - It's on the wife's Urban Express right now, but as soon as her replacement mirrors arrive, I'll send it off to you - You pay shipping, of course.
