This year i plan on driving my trusty litle Spree during winter. I need some tips on jet settings and stuff like that. (I know I defenetly need ice tires)
-I will probly be running in -15C to -35C, so, really really cold. LOTS of ppl think im stupid for running it in that cold of temperatures, but I need to go places.

You need to change the spark plug to a BPR4HS thru '85 models and a BPR4HSA '86 and on. You might also thin the oil in the tank with some gas and then run some premix in the tank, as at those temps the oil isn't gonna want to flow for crap.

I found out by running my elite in the winter it ran leaner than usual..so wouldn't an upjet be necessary?

Why you say that amazes me. My local Schucks and Auto Zone auto parts store has them in stock.

Cold air is denser so you might need to up jet a little. If jetted properly I wouldn't think that a plug change would be required. Two strokes are sensitive to atmosphere changes. A 3000 foot elevation change required the jet in my Pal changing from an 80 to a 75.

You will probably need to raise the needle clip a notch or 2 and will want to put the aircrew in a 1/2 turn.
