How many MPG should I be getting on my 1989 Honda Elite SA50 xl?
80-90
if your getting bad mileage, there are two main things. One, clean your air filter.
two, adjust your carb. There are three screws on the side of the carb, top one is idle, bottom one is a drain, the middle one is the air/fuel mixture screw. If that one is adjusted wrong it could cause your bike to get bad gas mileage.
proper settings.- turn screw in tight, then back it out 1 and 7/8s turns.
