I recently bought this scooter which seems to run really good, runs 35 mph with no trouble, and I believe it is fully stock. I was interested in doing some upgrades to it; keli speed variator, clutch springs, cdi.
Questions are:
1: What can I expect?
2: is the cdi needed?
3: what type of grease is needed for the variator?
4: What size roller weights to use?
5: anything else I should do?

the HiSpeed pulley is a good upgrade, it will add like 5mph to the top end, and give slightly better overall performance.

Dont botter with the CDI, honda CDIs are not restricted, so buying an after market one is just a waste of money.

none, honda more less put the grease in there to slow the take off and help the rollers last forever. If you want to put some in for longer roller life, just about any grease will work.

With a highspeed pulley alone, im not really sure on what to use. its a real tuning game, get allot and keep trying different ones to see what works best.

if you are happy with 40mph then you should be ok with just getting the hispeed pulley. But if you are like so many others, you might wanna bore with a big bore kit.
63cc is a good upgrade. it adds massive take off, the motor pulls harder all the way upto speed. And your top speed will be like 45mph.

Gears is something everyone wants to do, just reasonlly we all find out taht you can put gears in a motor like that, so if you got some 9:1 gears also im sure that combined with the bore kit would give a top speed of 50mph. But the gears are still getting worked out, no one has a 100% working gear set yet.
