no throttle control
i've cleaned my carburetor and when i started er up it ran full out it stalled, seems like i have no control over throttle, could it be the cable?
Re: no throttle control
Slide in backwards, cable not connected properly to the slide or a broken cable. Of the three, I will put my money on Number 1.84 spree NQ50 wrote:i've cleaned my carburetor and when i started er up it ran full out it stalled, seems like i have no control over throttle, could it be the cable?

throttle cable
how would i be able to tell, i'm new at this
This is just a generic picture from something else but the carbs look somewhat alike.

Take the slide cap back off and pull the insides out. The slider should only go in one way, most slides have a notch in them. Make sure its in the right way and it moves up and down freely inside the carb.
I would write more but I am on my way to work.
