Elite wheelie bars

Post by gobucks »

Has anyone ever built any wheelie bars for an elite or any other moped, this came up last night when i pulled back too far and the luggage rack took the impact to the ground, i'm thinking about using a couple rollerblade wheels and just weld an add on to the luggage rack so that i can ride wheelies all over.

the luggage rack really doesn't bolt up to anything that strong. if you thinking of turning it into like a 12 o-clock bar, it could easily break off.

The cheap and easy cure would be to move your fat butt forward and quit doing wheelies. Wheelie bars are to prevent wheelies, not prolong them. Besides the challenge is to balance everything, he bike, your butt and the throttle to continue the wheelie. Rollers are for amateurs and fakers.

i can see rollers on a 12 o-clock bar. but other then that i agree.

you wanna learn to wheelie learn breaking control. Lean back, and every time you think you are going to go over backwards tap the brakes to bring the front down a little bit. when the front starts to go to low just give it more gas to bring it back up.
If you can master braking control, you can wheelie just about anything.

If you wanna learn to ride wheelies, do it the proper way, work on using the brake to keep from going backwords :)

A "wheelie bar" as you call it, isn't really a "wheelie bar" its for scraping... Just going back and slamming into it without brake control can cause you to wreck
