sym dd50 air box

Post by perdog02 »

quick question..if you deristrict it like a elite what size jet do you need? the sym has a rubber plug in it and if you remove it it runs like crap. it already has an 88 jet in it...how much bigger do you need to go? i seen only going to an 80 for the elites..

shakes head...
have you done a sym derestrict? you change the pipe, and remove all the factory restrictors. It still falls under warranty.

oh yeah by the way perdog. The stuff for your set up. I Just called the distributor and he said he had what i was looking for! come by the shop, if this weekend is nice lets go for a cruise!

Thanks for the jet D. And in case you others were wondering the 100 jet in a derestricted sym DD50 works just fine.

awesome, im glad that worked!
once he does a few more small things that stock Bike should get close to 50 pretty easy. He needs to change his variator, springs.. i jus did a order with taiwan so i can get him hooked up with some good prices!

Ha Ha, thats funny cause a 66cc bore kit uses a #100 jet & is a joke on a 12mm carb for the sym= nothing beats an old school honda
