Turning flasher unit not quite working....suggestions?

Spree is running well and everything is working except for the turning flashers. When I select a right or left turn, the turning lights will turn on, but not flash. I can hear the little unit under the seat click on, and in fact if I continuously tap it, the lights will flash.
Anything I can do to get them working or should I just look to eBay?
Thanks
Steve

Do you have both front and rear signals hooked up? Are bulbs in both working?

I have had this exact problem. You just have to ride around and eventually the lights will start flashing. Keep tapping the relay and it should start working right eventually, thats what i did.
I remember someone went and bought an identical relay from autozone for like 5 bucks, so maybe try that.

I actually don't have the rear turning signals yet - waiting for a rack and lights to show up from eBay. Would that explain why they're not flashing? You need to have all the lights hooked up and working to complete some sort of circuit?

Noiseguy.....you were right!!
My rear rack and flashers showed up today after work, plugged them in, and blink....blink.....blink. All four flash nicely.
Wicked!

o yeh, that would explain it. didnt know you were missing the rear blinkers. complete circuit is necessecary for it to blink too.
