all this spring does is hold tension on the screw so i doesnt fall out. no a ballpoint spring wont work. the airscrew spring is bigger but shorter.

I'm surprized that the dealer is too lazy to look up parts. Does the place even have a parts counter?

Go to web links, you can order Honda parts online.

thanks for the web site links.they have a parts counter but are not obligated to have parts for anything more than 10 yrsold if it was a big order he would probly order them if the sprit moved him.i will be glad drichardson either sells his business or keeps it,i have bought several things fromhim this honda i'am restoring is a 1985 spree with only965 miles.bought at an estate sale for 25 dollars all in pieces, but everything seems to be there.just about finished putting it all back together.it layed in the garage for ten yrs.old gas in tank, but i got it all cleaned up and it is running, except for little things still to do.
thanks for putting the manual on it has helped greatly.

ok thank you well all i need is an air scre with spring and also athrottle stop screw with the spring.i will gladly pay you for the items with cash or check, just tell me where to send the money.i'am a very honest person.

another question ,is the main jet screw turned all the way in till it stops,or is it just flush with the bottom of the carb.the pic i have shows it screwed in as per the manual on chapter 4-6
thanks

Screw in the main jet until it's reasonably tight.
