someone tell me what this thing is!!!

i have been wondering what this little thing is. its a little black tube, there is currently a screw stuck in it right now, and if i take the screw out, the bike starts revving really high. im sure it must connect somewhere, but i mean its been riding fine since ive had it (4 months) i just wanna know where it is supposed to go to. its the little black tube thingie in the picture. is it ok to have a screw stuck in it? well thanks for ur help, all of you guys have helped save my spree. my recent air filter replacement went great and it transformed my bike into something totally different. dramatic difference! well thanks anyway guys.

that would be where your vaccum hose is supposed to go for your fuel petcock which apparently you don't have.

Yea, lets see the bottom of your gas tank where the hose hooks up.

Haha yea wheres the other hose going to thats running off ur fuel petcock? thats where that other hose is suppose to go

Probably got a bad petcock that's open all the time and PO just blocked the vacuum hoses off.

Or the diaphragm has a rip in it and dumps fuel into the intake.
