purchased for 600.00 with bad oil pump, piston and cylinder. its a 94 model and everything else is in good shape . bought new .020 over piston and had the cylinder bored out . ill be posting updates on the build after the parts come in. it is a variatable trans kinda like a scooter but wierd looking varator should be powerfull being a 250 2stroke. although id rather have gears for a 4wheeler though. all parts and my own labor will only run me an extra 179.00. polaris rebuilds them for 1200.00 in my area. so like i said i have a new prodject. cant wait for the results. oya my scooters are all still running just fine.

ok rebuilt the top end today. now it runs but it runs *. im suspecting that its floading out becouse wet plug and excess gas flowing back by the are filter. could be that the choke is stuck or the float is sticking. im so agervated at it becouse i wanted to ride it so bad this weekend and its just dies out. had it running a little bit and it was a tees to me. it seems to have great power when it did go. now im going to redo the whole carb. this sucks to have these problems. hopefully i can just fix the carb problem without doing a rebuild on it tommarow. im still going to rebuild the carb, but i have to wait a week for them to come in.

ok! i just went to the polaris dealer and they had parts for me. i cleaned the carb and installed the parts it still was flooding out so i took the choke off the carb it was stuck at first but came out after spraying wd 40 in it cleaned that up and now the choke works. i adjusted the carb to specs . and my resuilts are alsome. it runs great and has tons of power tried to do wheelies and pops up great just need to learn how to keep the wheelie up and stay up. i dont have noware to ride at the moment. so it looks like im going to buy a s*** truck to hall it with for now. :D

Lol, sounds like me, I haul my 4-wheeler around in a truck that is worth less than the bike.
