OK, so in the second pic from the top, the plastic valve on the far right is lifted a VERY SMALL amount. Im talking less the like a half a millimeter. Could that cause it to operate improperly?

OK! Back in she goes! Any clue as to what might be stopping it now? Carb is being re-cleaned since it was out anyway. New plug is in with a good spark, its getting fuel because I can smell it on the plug if I take it out.

Any ideas?

Hey Dac!! Dont sweat it! This is great news! Do you know how hard it would have been for me to find a new one?? Also, I learned A LOT by removing everything anyway.

So, I think I found the culprit anyway. Here is one of the jets??, i think? Anyway, it was pretty plugged. I THINK i got it unplugged. Could this have been the cause of the scooter not running?

Yes, make sure all those little holes are nice and clean.

Plastic (actually fiberglass) reeds are showing up as replacement for the stock ones, even from manufacturers. They have gotten cheaper and last as long or better than the metal ones.

Being that its a real Dio, it probably came with glass reeds stock.
