so here i am posting twice in one day. my 87 spree is having lighting issues. my right directional is significantly faster than the left one, it blinks faster and it clicks faster. thats not my major gripe but it seems important to note. anyway, just today my rear right directional decided to practically die out. at first i thougt it was just a dead bulb. upon removing it i noticed that it was still a good bulb, but nevertheless ran down to the parts store and picked up a new bulb. upon installation of the new bulb i got similar results, very dim light, and eventually after about 30 seconds, no blinking at all (just the rear right, the front right was still working fine)just for * and giggles i took the old bulb and put it in the left rear directional, and it worked just fine, so that told me that it wasnt the bulb, but rather that the issue lies in the wiring of the right rear directional. how can i fix this? also, are the different directional speeds an indicator of a bigger problem? any responses are welcome and thank you, this forum is a lifesaver.

Check connections. There is a QD just inside the bike for easy rack removal, they come off sometimes.

The speed at which the signals blink depends on the load and if you have low voltage to one light, it lessens the load and makes it blink slower. It sounds like your bulb socket is dirty. Spray it with an electrical contact cleaner (preferred) or WD-40 while pushing in again and again on the center part of the socket.
