get rid of oil pump

I was told that oil pump failure sux and can end up screwing up your engine. Can the spree just get rid of the oil pump/ block it off and premix? What is the ratio 20:1 or what? It will give me a little bit of room for storage under the seat after resivoir is removed.

You grind the teeth off the pump completely and then some. Then you cap the in/out ports on the pump and the nipple on the intake manifold.

After thats all done you might need to rejet the carb, I recomend 32:1 for a stock motor, 25:1 for a modded one. remember more oil means bigger jets, and the stock spree carb isn't jetted for any oil to pass through it.
