if there is spark with the kickstart there has to be with electric. try a plug change if it doesnt spark all the time.

THE SPARK IS GENERATED WITH THE MAGNETO AND IF IT SPARKS WHEN KICKED, IT SHOULD SPARK WITH THE ELECTRIC STARTER (PROVIDING THE ELECTRIC STARTER SPINS THE FLYWHEEL FAST ENOUGH).
