so there's a LOT of scooters on my campus. and they all park in the same little spot.....
and my poor little purple elite smushed in there
It usually gets more crowded than this. Any ideas for how to protect my scooter, besides putting a cover over it?

covers are a pain in the * and really wouldn't protect it that much.

Get two fake fire hydrants and put them on either side of where you park

Greetings:
Sheesh, that's a tight parking job. Try that in a Harley bar parking lot and find someone's hacked off your sidestand when you return to your bike.
Not to worry, Wheelman's Top 5 Scooter Proximity Deterrents:
5. Install loud stereo and play a loop tape of Barry Manilow's
Copacabana (WAIT!! That may backfire with a Scooter crowd...

)
4. Carry movie theater velvet rope holders, substituting BioHazard or Police Line - Do Not Cross tape.
3. Surround bike with plastic vomit.
2. Chain an agressive pit bull to the floorboards.
1. Paint side covers with Police Mobile Narcotics Unit logo.

I'm hoping one day you write a book - maybe a modern/humorous version of 'The Zen of Skoot Maintenance.' Be big seller, IMO.

Is that the only motorcycle parking at your whole school? I've never seen the parking get packed like that here, probably more to do w/ the weather.
Consider this punishment for schooling in FLA

Maybe you could get together with some of the other scooter and motorcycle riders and go to the school and ask for (or demand) more parking. I am sure out of all of those riders you will find a lot of them that would like a little elbow room. I would think any campus would encourage you to ride scooters, saving gas and all, they should really make it more accommodating!
No matter what you ride or drive to school you should be able to park with out the fear of getting your ride damaged, that is just ridiculous IMO

Could always wrap her in bouble tape

Uhhh, is that the stuff movie stars stuff in their bras on Oscar night?

Yes Wheelman it has other uses.
Thought bouble tape for front, (bra)
and buttle wrap for sides. (skirts)
Buttle wrap also seen on red carpet,
by like J Lo.
Amazed this pile up is intentional, looks like
a north-eastern winter interstate pile up with
out ice! how does this happen just pull up and
scrap your way in or heave ho?
I just tried to be funny.

I agree, that parking situation is a joke.

it gets a lot worse than that, and every single parking lot on campus is like that. we have to park in the designated "scooter parking" areas, and they're all slammed tight like that.
i bought a cover tonight though
