I was needing to replace my tires, and honestly dont know where to start. Ive found tons of places to buy them, and thats not the issue, but so much as:

1) how to replace them
a) front
b) rear
2) the correct tire size as related to the listed manual size of 2.75x10 (aspect
ratio?)

3) and lastly, my rear wheel wobbles a bit and thought it to be a great time
to replace it. Any ideas?

4) and tube size, if needed at all which from what i read I do. I suppose I cant just go to the tire store huh? haha

I got my Pirelli SL26 in the 90/90x10 (rim diameter) size at motorcyclesuperstore.com. You must use tubes on stock rims. Sizes are approximate for tubes. I got the 3.5-4x10 to go with 90mm tire = 3.54 inches wide. Tires are around $25, tubes $10-ish.

2.75 and 3.00 are circular profiles. Aspect ratios are denoted by the slash (/), 90 meaning the height is 90% of width. Some 3.50s fit, some don't in back. The advantage is a smoother ride and faster groundspeed/RPM. Might slow takeoff just a bit.

Rear rims from a Metropolitan can run tubeless and bolt right on. I found mine on eBay. You'll need to deflate the 90 to get it mounted. Some say you need to shave engine cases for a 3.50.

I managed to mount my tire by hand, but I have the strength of 111 ordinary Wheelmen. Any scootershop can install, but they like to sell you the tires they mount.

Would I then need any modifications or machining for the wheel to bolt on or is it pretty straightforward?

Ok so, I can go with the met wheels, with a 3.5-10, although it may be a tight fit? If not, the 3.0-10 should fit fine.

Pretty straightforward, really;

1. Remove impossibly tight nut.
2. Get bandages for knuckles.
3. Remove stock Aero wheel by pulling it off the axle.
4. Install groovy Metro tubeless rim by pushing it onto axle.
5. Ride away.
6. Spend 6 months in Physical Rehab.
7. Reinstall axle nut.

Only the rear wheel bolts on. The front Met hub has a 95mm brake drum that must also be sourced if you must run tubeless. It's worth doing, but I used a 1994+ brake panel and 2001 Elite wheel, sadly tube-type. Not sure about Met front speedo drive compatibility.

I'd get the 90/90s, just because it's a wider contact patch and almost sure to fit. Pirellis certainly do - once you deflate tire. Going from 2.75 to 3.00 is just replacing rubber. 90/90 really improved the ride and grip.
