84 aero nb50m headlight does not come on when running.......removed
and checked with alternate powersource and lit right up..

Any suggestions? Have alreadly check all wires, continuity in the switch,
and cussing. that did not help.

Start it up and check for AC voltage output at the stator light coil. You ruled out pretty much anything else...
