ditching the stock airbox gives it a little, i had a malossi fiberglass reed, it helped the response, i milled .020 off the head for a little more...wheelman111 could probably make a set of carbon reeds for you, they definitely help. any uni or k&n filter is a viable replacement, and if you dont have access to a machine shop, i do!

Sccoterwerx,

What's you top end speed after all that? Will replacing the gears works? Going to a 9:1 and a high speed pulley?

so far as i know, replacement gears and pulleys are not available for the elite e. after those mods my elite e topped out at 35ish, maybe 37 or 38 down steep steep hills.

Greetings:

WARNING: No direct personal "E" or Spree experience.

I have read that the 3.00" rear tire can be shoehorned in to replace the 2.50. This raises groundspeed by ~7% at a given RPM. Derestricting intake and exhaust and port mods can increase both power and top RPM.

Sprees reportedly can be made to go 35+ with the right combination. The scooters are light and fun, so they say.
