I have a dumb question....I am going to remove the rear wheel from my scooter and I want to see if I am right.
After I take off the muffler and remove the so called "nut from *"
is it pretty straight forward?
Would it be like pulling a rear wheel from a car with the wheel attached to the drum?

Greetings:

Breaking that large nut isn't so bad. A 7/8 box-end or socket + the Miracle of leverage usually works.

Once off, the wheel slides off its splines with a little wiggle.

Use a 7/8 socket and 80 ft-lb on torque wrench to install. Do this part attentively. A loose wheel can ruin your whole day.

Yeah, I bet not putting that nut tight enough would ruin my day :x
I dont own a torque wrench, But I will be sure to make it tight.

If you think that's the nut from *, you've never tried to get the clutch apart...

both are easy to take off after you do it a thousand times  and an impact gun.
