Elite kickstand repair

I fixed my kickstand the other day the u shaped piece was busted off here are some blurry pics



the before pic



marked the length off the rod with a sharpie



ground down the old one and marked a spot for the new one



bent it into shape around a socket



welded it on



ground down the welds



painted it and put it back on



then bent the end up to keep from scraping during corners
