Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hi,

I seem to have an oil leak coming from the oil pump ('86 Spree). Was wondering if they're are replaceable seals/o-rings for the oil pump or should i order a replacement pump? If there is another thread regarding this already, please feel free to direct me over to it. Thanks.

Wouldn't hurt to pull the oil pump shaft and all. Leave oil input line connected and put it over 2 containers, one for the shaft, the other the oil pump outlet. That will verify the seal or some other oil pump problem.

There's not parts from Honda available for oil pump repair. Am currently working on seal replacement in the link below. The link has some tear down photos & seal dimensions.
