Front Fork Removal

Can anyone give me some advice on how to remove the front fork on my 86 Spree? Basically, I've have my Honda since new, but about 7 years ago it hit a curb and bent the rim and I'm assuming either bent the fork or knocked it out of alignment. It's set since :(

I picked up a new fork and rim on ebay and am in the works of removing the fork, but can't figure out how to take it apart? Is there a trick or something I'm not doing right? I know it's hard to help diagnose something you can't see, but I'm sure I'm not the first person to run across this. Thanks, -Scott-

iff you look in the manuals section of the tec docs for the spree, click the manual and then you will have to scroll for a while but eventually youll find a front end diagram, that helped me alot when removing my front end.

if you are talking about the fork legs, there is a circlip under the rubber boots. remove this, and the fork legs will slide out.
