So I cleaned my carb yesterday, put it back in my scooter and started it up just fine after 3-5 tries

It was running better (2-3 mph faster) than before cleaning, and I was super excited about how great it was running....until!

I start it up this morning and take off

around 15mph the scooter started shaking fiercely, and wouldnt accelerate past 15 or so and when the throttle was pulled completely open it would stall out.

After riding it for about a 1/2 mile at 15 or so, it "Warmed up" and started running good again like last night.

So I parked the scooter, went in for a job interview, came out, and it would only go 15 again.

So i ride maybe 1/2 a mile and it starts running even worse.

It starts topping out around 5mph, and when I try giving it more gas it keeps dying.

I got it home going only about 5-10mph

So I started toying with the Idle & Airscrew, but it seems to not do much for it dying out.

It seems like the bottom of the carb is a little loose, to the point that a little gas seeped out of the edges when i wiggled it with my finer

Unfortunately I dont have my tool kit here, but my friend is bringing his tool over in about 30 mins, Im figuring that Tightening the bottom pan of the Carb is going to Fix my problem since im assuming its sucking air through the gap.

Does this sound like its the problem to you guys? Or should I look for something else?

Im really worried about this, since its my transport to work!

It sounds like your initial experience was simply the scooter warming up. I suspect that you need to clean the carb again. Make sure you clean out the bowl good. Any little bit of gunk can easily clog the main jet. If you can't get the carb to seal together properly perhaps you should look into a gasket/rebuild kit. I would set the idle/air screw to stock per the service manual.

Yea I set both to stock, I think the problem is I may just not have tightened the screws enough that hold the carb together, so a little is seeping out
