I bought a nice 1985 spree and hooked it up to a battery charger to jump start it.. nothing when i turn the key on, no dash lights nothing, checked the fuse to the battery and it looks good, (anyone know what amp this fuse is supposed to be?) could it be the starter relay or is there another fuse.. it looks like a good bike and its all there..
thanks for your help people..

There are folks on this forum that know Waaaaaay more than me, but would it hurt to bypass the ignition key? If you don't have a volt ohm meter handy, I mean. And, I just found recently (see my post on "Funky Turn Signals"), that it pays to check the wiring up front to make sure all the colored wires are plugged in to the same color.
Just my 2 cents worth. BTW, welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure if this is the same with a spree, but I had a problem starting my Aero when I first put it together because you have to have three things for it to start:
1. Ignition Key on
2. Brake Lever Pulled
3. Run switch on

not gonna lie, when i got my spree running i sat there for 5 minutes cranking, then realized "oh you gotta put it in run, duh!"
switched it over to run, fired right up... looked around to see if there was any one laughing, and putted away.
