so i picked up this Honda Spree thats all dirty and missing half the plastics, has a busted ignition headlight dont work neither do blinkers but for some reason she a monster. I just did a few trips around my apt complex and was like wow ok shes pretty decent. But then my buddy shawn came over and we literally beat the * out of this moped. We jumping it off speed bumps and off the sidewalks and up over the sidewalk threw the dirt onto a grass hill down a barkdust pile for abour 2 hrs strait just beating on it. We also would sit our * on the back and ride wheelys with it. We shut it down and next day it fired right back up put me and my gf on it.. figure im 230lbs and shes 125lbs and took it on an hr ride around the neighborhoods up big * hills only 15-20mph up hills.. we hit 30-35 on long straight-a-ways and 40 downhills before i got to scared to go faster. We bottomed out a couple times but she kept going. The only thing i noticed is at first start shes alittle boggy sounds crappy but around 1/4+ throttle she peps up and sounds great and pulls my fat * everywhere!! Just thought i post how happy i am with my scooter lol.

My Spree was in mint condition. One night I had a few beers in me and the neighbor and I were racing through the yards. He was on a CT 70 and I was on the Spree. I hit the slick driveway after running through the wet grass and turned 'er hard. The spree went down snapping off the turn signals and scuffing up the side panels. Then I did a wheelie and ripped off the plastic rear fender. A few days later I let a hot chick go for a ride and she smashed it into a tree. Now it looks like a piece of shizz.
1) Careful coming from wet grass to slick seal coated blacktop.
2) Don't do a wheelie, the rear fender will snap.
3) Don't borrow your Spree hot blondes.

did u have a few beers before u posted twice?

mine has no rear plastics so its ok. I did do a wheelie and came off the back on my feet and 1 hand on the throttle keeping the bike up it was going in a circle and screetching as it burned off the rubber
Equally as Impressed....

I just stumbled on a 86 spree in the Dumpster of all places. We hot wired it to run without a key and dannggg, she rolls nicely! Since I am a huge gearhead I put a new spark plug in it from Advance Auto PArts(shameless plug) and put new gas and oil in her and she runs good and im 300 pounds of man meat!!! Yikes!!! Ive been talking on the boards about a Aero 80 Rear strut replacement for the spree to make it handle the weight a little better. Anyways, to make a long post a short one, I really love this dang thing and with gas prices like they are its nice to have here at College.
