Compression test is next and some Seafoam in the gas tank. Also, when was the last time you changed the spark plug? Scooters that slow down have something wrong and hot rodding sick motor is a waste of time and money.

bear is telling you the truth...
one other thing you may try is a bigger tire a 3-10 i think will fit if you grind on the case a little.. it give you 3.142in more per turn .. one the to thing about is the more you get on top end the more you will lose on take off.. that most of us do a motor swap..

compression is good, spark plug is new, brand new tope end i have 3 tanks of premix through it, and heat cycled it 100 times.

Last time a guy told me compression was good, it was 24 PSI below spec when he actually checked it.

spark plug is a number 18 on the plug chart from wikispreedia. after i did a plug chop at WOT (25mph)
compression is at 105 psi tested it 3 times
it shuts off at WOT so i think this bike needs to go back to the Not running/needs work section of the blog =( ......
Then we can focus on performance!

I cut the muffler open and modified it and i got 25-26
