Change your gearing the stock gearing is limiting you on top speed

Probably a silly question but what do I need to change the gearing(prefer not to have to change wheels or tyres)?

Greetings:

Aye, there's the rub. The only aftermarket gears still lurking are Malossi 67-6458 Primaries - on this side of the Pond, anyway. At 16:32, they raise your Final Drive to 7.83:1, which is Mighty Tall even for a kitted 65ccs. It's OK once underway if the variator's tuned, but no matter what rollers you install, 0 to maybe 10MPH is plenty painful. The only other option is to find and install a complete AF16/Dio gear set and axle along with cover. Then you can fit any 9:1 or 8.44:1 secondary gears designed for that engine.

Thanks Wheelman. Is there a thread anywhere about the Dio conversion?
