At least you got what you need. That throttle cable was adjusted out from the pics i took for you showing how to adjust. I didn't adjust it back in afterwards . Good luck, if you got the un-restricted pipe you should hit more than 25 mph now!

is the GRRRR sound from the exuast? i am guessing if it is from the exhaust, the exhaust is restricted and can only expell the exhaust gasses so fast, especially at high rpms. small hole, low flow.

Yup from the exhaust and noticeable decrease in power when it happens :*:

so is your elite restricted? if you take the exhaust off, right where the exhaust bolts to the engine is there a washer in there narrowing it down?

this is a question for all forum members... does the se50 come in a resticted "moped" version?

ok so i just read page 17 of this thread and you have a se50p which means there are restictions to your vari(which have been previously discussed) and most likely your exhaust. there are threads on here talking about de resticting restricted hondas that should help you out. i think all you need is a dremmel or something like it to bore out the inside of that exhaust washer.

like this picture, you need to drill it out to the full size of the exhaust tube. and jet up, because there will be more flow for sho.

nevermind. its the stock exhaust from an aero. sweet, that should open your exhaust side up and give you serious top end.

it should. as far as my aero knowlege goes, none of the aeros received the restricted exhaust.
my aero has a keli variator(mine has a non restricted ramp plate) is upjetted one size and has the exhaust drilled out a little and it does 45gps (with 9 g rollers)
with the stock vari it does 42.
you should see similar performance with what you got now.

The 87 elite doesn't have the washer just a small header pipe all the way to muffler. The non-restricted pipe has a header pipe that opens up more about 6 inches from muffler. That's the difference in the restricted and non-restricted pipes.
