Got my pipe in the mail today when I was just about to put it on I thought. Why was it restricted? Will this damage the engine in some way or shorten the life of it?

They made the restricted models to comply with laws that said to be a moped, you have to have a max speed of 25 or whatever. Your engine should be fine.

Yup that's the law here in Washington. I don't think I'll have any problems though as long as I stay under the speed limit.

I wish there was a speedo to install that you would know how fast you are going.

You're just turning your SE50P into an SE50, that pipe won't hurt anything.

I watched a vid on youtube that a guy cut in a speedo into his stock gauge pod. If I had a spare stock gauge I might try that.

So it's running like it should now? You can use your ramp plate till you get the new one (not going to hurt any). I wonder if the pipe does anything with restricted plate or if pipe opened up more top end.

Got the pipe on last night nothing else took it out for a rip got the speedo pegged as far as it would go slightly over 35 don't know how accurate the gauge is though. definite power increase kinda chokes in mid acceleration maybe up jet? Cold and rainy last night just could be that.

That's pretty good for a flat ramp plate, you're gonna like the new ramp plate/keli variator combo. I wouldn't worry about the brakes yet unless you're scared
