Test your new gauge on a motor that you know runs. My first HF one said my Spree had 30 pounds, and my Met had 80. The Met runs well, and is supposed to have over 200 PSI. The Spree since has been started, and there`s no way one will even fire at 30 PSI.

Thanks all who support me with my moped . I finally found why gas was not able to get to the engine. I don't know what you call that tube . But check the picture . I had tons of dirt that stack in that small valve . Man I couldn't believe what I saw . Once I get it out . Put the valve back to get my problem is all gone. It is running all fine .

Glad you have that fixed. Its the fuel inlet. The fuel inlet has the largest dia line. Vac and oil injection get smaller id tubes :D

glad you got it figured out. How many times did you clean the carb   For something that seems rather simple carb cleaning can be so hard.

I had cleaned it like 6 times and I also used the card cleaner. There is no way that the carb clean will of clean what came out from the fuel intlet. Its was like a small pieces of rusted metal and dirt over it. SO what I did is I take the tube on the carb clean and used it to spray in every hole and try to look carefully where the the fuel will come out . The first time I clean the carb with the carb cleaner I just spray it on there and let it sit . I guest I didn't do a good job the first time. :peace:

You know this rust and dirt is coming from the gas tank....Install a fuel filter to avoid repeated trouble. Use of clear fuel line is helpfull. Tank cleaning is in order.

spray -can carb cleaner is not as strong as carb cleaner that comes in a gallon can...Berrymans brand is $20 a gallon and will clean hundreds of carbs. Compressed air is a essential part of carb-cleaning. The teeny-weeny passages that have clogged from years of sitting with gasoline in them will become impossible to clear with spray-can cleaner alone. Sounds like you are finding some of this out the hard way, but you are making progress... :2thumbs:

Hey all I have took my honda elite to a ride . It runs great but when I Shut of the engine I have gas coming out on one of those small tubes that I believe that allows air in the carb . Any idea do I need to change my bystarter ?It is locating right by the bystarter.

sounds like the carb inlet needle isnt shutting the fuel flow off. here's an article explaining the cleaning procedure for the seat, your needle may be bad as well.

Gas is running out one of the vent tubes because all that crap from the gas tank is getting stuck between the float needle and seat preventing shut-off.
