Interesting problem...

My spree has seem to develope a strange fenomina (however you spell that word). It seems that it does not like the side panels, even with the nice air scoops. It will not run for more than a quarter mile (maybe even a tenth) and then it will just die. If I run it "naked" without the side panels, then it will run at least until I turn it off or it runs out of gas. Maybe something gets overheated under the panels? maybe it gets starved of air? maybe it just has a sense of fasion for running around naked? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks[/i]

check for wire shorts. this happened to my elite and it was the coil wire shorting on the exhaust pipe.

nope not a short there, there arent any wires running anywhere near something metal and everything is plugged in nicely.

what air scoops? too much air w/ a scoop could lean it out.

scoops are for air flow. not intake. his scoops are not hooked into intake.

Try a couple of things:
1) Clean your exhaust out. Might be plugged; plugged one's run hotter.
2) Check condition of engine fan
3) Run colder plug (NGK BPR8HS)
4) Check condition of shroud and spark plug rubber boot/plug. All in place?
5) Oiler working, and you're running injector oil?
