The videos show some bar stock being used. The tool off ebay came with the bar stock too.

Right now i'm going with OEM Honda crank. I was waiting on another forum member to get me a price on a teflon stuffed mini-stroker but haven't heard from him. I'm not sure if i'll stay with stock crank or mini-stroke later. I'd like the extra torque but i ran stock crank last summer and was satisfied with performance. We'll see.

Black magnum then glass bead followed by clear coat. Cost to blast = $7.50

Mr. evilone,

wow dude, nice job - your motor looks great! :2thumbs: -that's what i love to see; complete, accurate, clean builds!

keep us posted on your build, and post up progress pictures. Are you using the PG Long you bought from me on that build?

elite_dub couldn't help you out on a mini-stroker crank? Either way, you will be happy w' the stock crank. Veedubh20 swears by the stock crank's strength and ability to handle higher modified engine RPM's. -You can't argue w' Honda reliability

snow, snow, snow here. im ready for Spring. :coolcruise:

later, jon

Yes, PG Long is sitting next to me waiting

The mini-stroker elite_dub was trying to get me was discontinued, he said he could get me the same crank you got but it was something like $250-$275, Ouch! I've heard Veedubh20 say stock crank is stronger several times so i had no problem using stock. 2 more months of winter here, then april showers. I hope it goes quick. See ya, Kyle.

Uh-Oh! :( We may be seeing more of that as the years since the AF series was last produced pile up.

wish I could of found you a crank man, they are floating around, but people just don't want to let them go...I know sanjuro sourced his from Japan and cost a pretty penny also.. a stock crank will work out great just get some porting done on whatever kit your putting in there.. I did just find a lower price on the SEF copy crank from Travis where Jon received some of his parts but he's still asking $200... there are the run of the mill ruima half counterweighted crank they work great but I know that stuffed crank gives you best of both worlds a faster rev along with the case pressure of a full countered crank without the weight :D GOOD STUFF

Have fun with your build and good looking out on that tool.. I may buy one soon, just to have and it works alot more simpler than the OEM Honda tools

No problem, thanks for looking. My cast iron Malossi 72cc is ported pretty good, I ran an R1 last summer and i'm sure the PG Long will open it up alot. I dropped from a 28mm oko to a 24mm oko per arnadanoobs advice. I think i'll be right where i want performance wise. I was almost to that point using the low-rev R1 and 28mm carb. I'll keep my eye out for a stuffer crank to use later if needed.

That tool worked GREAT! Worth every penny.

Hopefully as more of use start modding the parts will stay available :|. I didn't know people even modded scooters till the gas prices went way up and i got a spree. I wanted to go faster and looked up mods for it. That's when i found out about the Dios and Jogs.
