Bigger carb, custom setup?

I have a spare 14.5mm carb from my vento, and I was thinking of retrofitting it to the spree. It wouldn't be a direct bolt on since the vento's carb is slip on, but if it can work I think it might be an improvement. If I happen to make the setup work I can sell it to someone who's interested, since my spree isnt streetable.

What size is a spree's stock carb?

hmm 12 sounds more like it because the slide does looks smaller than the vento's, but I still need to know for sure if its really going to be an improvement.

there's so many spree owners and no definite answer? I just want to know for sure first, before I begin a project without benefits.

You can pick up a Dellorto or Oni carb that will bolt up in 15mm+ sizes for around $100... is it still worth it?

well this carb is free, and I currently don't have a use for it so I thought I'd give it a shot.

it will not work, the vento is a yamaha based engine and can't be swapped with a honda, you can get a 19mm intake adaptor with a 19mm dellorto carb which is overkill, the spree is a dead end to begin with....

its liek when i put my 65cc kit on my spree. it started adn ran. didnt run to good but it ran, it had low power due to the 4 mm gap that was in the cylinder cuz the crank was to long, but i bet with machining it would work just fine

im not swapping an engine, but the carb. as long as the throttle cable fits and intake is big enough to use the flow increase, i don't see a problem. a carb controls fuel flow, as long as its doing that it'll get fuel to any engine. imo, but yeh might experiment.
