Greetings:

SA 50 and SE 50 are model codes, and do NOT designate what engine you have. The SE model only lasted 1 year in the US (1987) but its engine - the 05 - survived in the SA50 until 1993. After that the SA50 scooters were fitted with the AF16 engine. Pump swappability between the 05 and the 16 is uncertain.

88-93 sa50 and the 87 se50 have the afo5 engine whereas the 94-01 sa50 has the af16 engine. sa50p or se50p oil pumps dont produce the same output as the unrestricted version. as far as compatibility not exactly sure but i imagine if its a 94-01 you would just swap the shaft but dont quote me

on the 94- 01 you can use a sym oil pump just swap the shaft, don't know about the older models.
