I was wondering about if it would be worth cutting the plastics to install one. I would like some opinions from people who have used/made one for their scooters. thanks

Sprees have a ton of frame flex, I don't have a frame brace but I think they are a super great idea. To figure out if its a good idea to cut your plastics or not you need to think about how much you would like having no frame flex as opposed to having some holes in the plastics. It could be tough to decide ;-)

You could weld a reinforcement spline on the bottom of the frame and that could add some serious support. I imagine all the flex happens on the front of the frame from about where your toes go. If you could fab a little gusset there it might solve the flex w/o any plastic mods.
